Public transport expert Sean Millar has written this portrait of New Zealand's five trolleybus systems which served both North and South Islands from Wellington's pioneer line of 1924 up to that same city's network of today - once again threatened by the politics of a Regional Council Public Transport Plan. There is superb photographic coverage of Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin, New Plymouth and Wellington along with maps and fleet lists for each system.
